The Society

The Fraser Pacific Rose Society was incorporated in January of 1991 as a non-profit society and a registered charity in the Province of British Columbia.

We provide our members various learning opportunities to develop the skills associated with rose growing in a friendly, fun atmosphere.

'Coquitlam's Centennial Rose Garden' has been given to us to maintain in conjunction with the City. This unique situation allows our Society to use it as a hands-on, teaching garden.

We have many members with knowledge in several fields, such as hybridizing, propogation, photography, exhibiting, and floral arts who are more than happy to share with others. Our hope is to encourage new rose growers with advice mostly directed to the 'novice' rosarian.
