Fraser Pacific Rose Society
We work for the greater good of the community both to inspire people of all ages to be successful in the art of gardening and to share in the commitment and beautification of our communities. We hope to stimulate the knowledge and love of gardening and to share the advantages of a society where we can share our expertise, experiences and the love of roses. We are committed to the public's enjoyment, appreciation and understanding of the cultivation of roses.
Incorporated in January of 1991 as a non-profit society and a registered charity in the Province of British Columbia, we provide our members various learning opportunities to develop the skills associated with rose growing in a friendly, fun atmosphere.
We have a partnership agreement with the City of Coquitlam to help maintain the Coquitlam Centennial and Canadian Hybridized rose gardens.
We have many members with knowledge in several fields, such as hybridizing, propagation, photography, exhibiting, and floral arts who are more than happy to share with others. Our hope is to encourage new rose growers with advice mostly directed to the 'novice' rosarian.
